Accessibility Statement

This page is for anyone who uses a screen reader, navigates with a keyboard instead of a mouse, relies on high-contrast text to read comfortably, or uses any other assistive technology to get around the web. We want shopping at Triple C Soap to work for you.

We reviewed this site in May 2026 and found 5 issues, described below. We addressed them all before completing the review.
The final scan confirmed no remaining issues. 29 tool flags were reviewed and confirmed as false positives (see below for details).

What we fixed

Some page elements were not identified correctly to assistive technology. Screen readers could not determine the role or meaning of those elements. We corrected the markup.

Some text did not have enough contrast against its background. People with low vision or color sensitivity may have had difficulty reading it. We adjusted the colors to meet the required ratio.

There was no way to skip the repeated navigation at the top of each page. Keyboard users had to tab through every nav link on every page. We added a skip link.

A form control changed the page automatically when interacted with. This can disorient screen reader users and keyboard users. We removed the automatic behavior.

Tool findings that are not real issues

This contrast failure was flagged by axe but not confirmed by WAVE. The foreground color reported (a near-white value) is near-white, which indicates the tool failed to resolve a CSS custom property and fell back to an incorrect default. WAVE, using a completely independent rule engine, found no contrast error on this element. The text is visibly readable on the live site.

What we can not fully test with automated tools

Text that sits over slideshow images cannot be fully evaluated by automated tools. Those tools read CSS values, not the actual image pixels behind the text. We verify this contrast by sampling the rendered image pixels directly and calculating the ratio using the WCAG formula. The results are documented in our scan records.

Every product image needs a text description so screen readers can announce what it shows. Our tools check every image for a description and flag any that are missing. What they cannot tell us is whether a description is actually useful. We try to write helpful ones when we add new images. If you find an image where the description does not tell you what you need to know, please reach out.

Our review covered the publicly accessible pages of the store. Cart interactions and modal flows require hands-on keyboard testing that automated tools cannot perform. If you run into a keyboard issue, please let us know.

The checkout process is controlled by Shopify. We have not tested those pages, and some of what happens there is outside our control. If you run into something, let us know and we will do what we can, but there may be limits to what we are able to change.

Third-party tools.

Google Customer Reviews: Review widget markup is outside the store's control. The markup we control is accessible; the widget code is outside our control. If you have trouble with it, please let us know.
